Bradley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Prince2 Project Management qualification and an Energy Expert accreditation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).
Clint Steed is a design engineer from a research background with a knack for creative solutions. His experience includes mechanical design (using CAD and concept evaluation), simulation, costing and high-level control systems integration.
Clint holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s Degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch.
As a business advisor to Lean Energy Shirly Paulse is a South African born business women, founder and chairperson of Women Taking Action. She has 25 years of experience in business and marketing and started the medical company SP Scientific Pty (Ltd) which was engaged in the import and distribution of medical equipment since 1996. Shirly was South African business women of the year for two consecutive years and has since spent many years in the world of international trading and facilitated negotiations among key role players in the Oil Refinery of Taiwan in 2004, including acting as the chief negotiator in various oil contracts between Russia and the East.
In 2006, she formed SP Women’s Organization, a Non-Profit Organization aimed at providing support, encouragement and meals to the disadvantaged. In 2010, she was catapulted into the world of Social Media and is the SA holder of Patented Technology that allows one to stream content directly from the web to any internet enabled device without the need for application downloads.
In 2012 through her interest in community outreach, her technology company which houses the patent namely, Urslamjam, partnered with the Department of Correctional Services to do work in underprivileged communities of South Africa and it was this partnership that motivated Shirly Paulse to form Women Taking Action in 2016.
Grant provides excellent strategic and project management skills along with applied mechanical engineering knowledge. Tactical implementation of project execution and benchmarked maintenance strategies. Grant is passionate about developing and mentoring employees to their full potential.
Grant holds a Master’s in Business Administration degree from the University of Cape Town, a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
Lee has worked in various industries ranging from oil and gas, textile, FMCG and construction both as a technician and as a manager. He can configure most brands of gas detection and fire detection systems. He was responsible for all of the buildings of Metropolitan in the Tygervalley region and managed all contractors and vendors. Lee has extensive knowledge in programming PLC’s (Siemens, Moeller) and is very comfortable with flow instrumentation. His years of quality control experience makes Lee able to highlight inefficiencies within processes and so to close the gap through innovative improvements driven to making the processes better and safer.
Lee holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Peninsula Technikon (CPUT). He started his career in instrumentation at Caltex refinery, worked for PetroSA on FA Platform in George as an Instrument Technician and then moved abroad to the UK and into Africa working on oil rigs in countries such as Iraq, Gabon, Angola and Congo where he was responsible for training, procurement, time management and quality control on the rigs.
